Our Plumeria Story

If you look closely at the Myla Robinson Foundation, you’ll see a plumeria woven throughout our branding. It’s more than just Myla’s favorite flower — it’s a symbol deeply connected to her Polynesian heritage and to the heart of why this foundation exists.

In Polynesian culture, the plumeria represents positivity, new beginnings, grace, and connection — values that beautifully mirror what we hope to create for every young golfer we serve.

It also carries a powerful lesson:

a plumeria branch can be broken off, planted in almost any soil, and grow into a brand-new thriving tree. It doesn’t require perfect conditions — just a chance to take root.

For our family, that became the perfect picture of our mission.

The original tree represents our family’s golf journey — the lessons we’ve learned, the support we’ve received, and the opportunities that shaped Myla into the golfer and leader she is today.

The branch symbolizes sharing those blessings — time, knowledge, access, and love — with kids and families who may be starting from scratch or unsure where to begin.

And the new tree represents each junior golfer whose journey begins because someone offered them a seed of opportunity. With care, encouragement, and community, they grow — not just in golf, but in character.

This is why we exist.

This is why our core values are Grit, Growth, and Gratitude.

And this is why the plumeria is our emblem.

Every clinic, every partnership, every piece of donated equipment — it’s all about planting the next generation of golfers and leaders. One branch. One family. One child at a time.
